When she walked in the front door she immediately said, “This is our home.”

What seemed like a simple pairing of buyer and seller was really the result of years of market knowledge, time spent interpreting the likes and dislikes of a discerning buyer, and a preview process that weeded out more than 99 percent of the homes listed in the DFW area.

“Finding the perfect estate for a client is like finding a needle in a haystack,” said agent Faisal Halum, of Brigg Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty. Halum recently completed the largest residential sale in Dallas County in the past two years—the majestic Dan Bois Crete estate at 9806 Inwood Road, originally listed for $19.5 million.

“Many of my clients have packed agendas and busy travel schedules with little time for touring homes and driving through neighborhoods,” said Halum. “Instead, I listen closely to understand what they’re looking for, then I go through every property on the market, and some that aren’t, until I find the select few that I’m certain will appeal to them.”

The 14,000+ square-foot estate in Preston Hollow hit on all points, even some that they buyer didn’t consider. “I knew she would love the idea of having her morning coffee in the private garden off the master suite,” said Halum. “It’s one of her favorite spaces in the home.”

Generations of estate clients have trusted Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty with the sale and purchase of distinct homes throughout Dallas/Fort Worth.
