On 27th September 2012 Sotheby’s will hold its inaugural sale of ‘Collections’ offering clients a wonderful opportunity to admire and acquire a wealth of Fine and Decorative Art dating from the 16th to the 20th Century. Focusing on property sourced from private collections throughout Europe and often with an Aristocratic or distinguished provenance, the sale has been carefully curated in order to offer exciting and decorative privately owned items that are fresh to the market – and in the case of specially commissioned items for the very first time in their history.
