Preserving Dallas’ Historic Architecture

Fair Park, Dallas

Posted August 14th, 2012 | by The Update

From You+DallasPreservation Dallas honors the City of Dallas for its preservation initiatives. More than maintaining the many historic places in its care (it’s not just Fair Park – the City owns the Majestic Theatre, the Sammons Center for the Arts, the buildings at Dallas Heritage Village and dozens of city parks!), the City encourages reusing and restoring existing buildings and neighborhoods through its preservation services, financial incentives and the research collections at the library and municipal archives. The video recognizes the enormous contributions these special places have on our city. Click here to see the original article.
