Historic Charm Adds Home Value
Posted August 6th, 2012 | by The Update
Did you know a portion of Preston Hollow was once part of the land owned by a historic Dallas family? This delightful home was one of the first ones built on the Carruth Family Farm Place, and the home’s interesting history added much to its value.
Gayle Johansen of Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty, who recently sold the home, noted that “Through the years it’s been renovated so that it has todays amenities but still retains its original charm of a 1930s area home. Plus, there is also the appeal of so much extra acreage with lots of mature trees, which makes it stand out among the many incredible homes in this neighborhood.”
