Cultivating Beauty: The Perfect Balance
Posted July 6th, 2012 | by The Update
While efficient watering is important for maintaining curb appeal, you don’t want to go overboard. Extra watering only helps plants in drought conditions and doesn’t compensate for the summer heat. You may be watering too much if your soil seems soggy or if you start to see signs of fungus growing, but if everything looks lush and green you’re probably doing just the right amount.
Like we shared earlier, the best thing to do is to water deeply to train your roots to grow deeper in the ground, which helps your plants and trees withstand whatever weather may come your way all year long.
