Your lawn and garden need plenty of water in the summer months to maintain your home’s curb appeal, so you want to make sure you get the most out of your sprinkler system.
Did you know that most sprinklers are so misty that they lose as much as 80% of water to evaporation in the summer? Even sprinklers that create heavier streams still lose about 50%. What a waste!
Especially when we need to conserve water in the summer, make sure you change your sprinkler setting to the heaviest flow allowed, and follow the standard rule of avoiding sprinkler usage during the hottest time of the day (from about 10:00-4:00).
