Dallas wine lovers, rejoice! Total Wine is recently opened its first store in Texas with plans to expand across the metroplex:
From The Dallas Business Journal: Total Wine & More announced its entrance into the Texas market in April and since then it’s been quickly and quietly renovating a roughly 30,000-square-foot space, transforming it into a Mecca for wine, spirits and beer.
The Potomac, Md.-based company is opening its first Texas store Thursday at 9350 N. Central Expwy. The stretch of road between Walnut Hill and Park Lane is quickly becoming a destination for spirits, wine and fine foods, with Spec’s located nearby and Trader Joe’s recently announcing its first Dallas store to open in the area.
Total Wine plans to open additional stores in the DFW area, said David Trone, co-owner and president of Total Wine.
“We are working on a significant number of sites all over the Fort Worth-Dallas area right now,” Trone said. “Another site will open in Fort Worth, probably in the fall.”
