This way, we can ensure the future success of our city. Texas has become the third coast with Dallas serving as the epicenter culturally, economically and recreationally.

The Downtown Dallas workforce is backed by 125,000 people comprising the largest workforce in North Texas; a workforce that is continually growing.

There has been great change in Dallas over the last 10 years. New projects can be seen everywhere you look Downtown. The recent development of the Trinity, and the addition of the Margaret Hunt-Hill Bridge, is the biggest public-private partnership since the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport.

Downtown is multi-dimensional; it is an urban environment in which to live, work and play. Anchored by Neiman Marcus, having held a vibrant presence in Downtown for 105 years, there are 250 bars, restaurants and lounges, and 300 events hosted a year in Downtown alone. Last year, Dallas-Fort Worth was ranked as the number one sports area in the country, thanks to our 2011 NBA World Champion Dallas Mavericks, and two-time ALCS Champions the Texas Rangers.
