Foodie Friday: Dallas Loves Food Trucks!
Posted January 27th, 2012 | by The Update

Food trucks are popping up all over DFW, taking advantage of the new foodie trend that caught on quickly in the metroplex.
These mobile restaurants are offering everything from authentic street tacos to barbecue to cupcakes, as well as a variety of gourmet fare. The delicious food and convenient locations make this a trend worth following.
Check out this video from You+Dallas showing how this trend is expected to grow even bigger in the near future:
You+Dallas comments:
At YouPlusDallas, we love food. A lot. We love going to restaurants and sampling our share of delicious fare; but when a talented chef can bring his or her restaurant-on-wheels to us, well, we like that a lot more. The Food Truck craze has swept the United States, and Dallas has finally joined in with the tasty trucks.
Downtown Dallas workers can usually find food trucks such as Nammi Truck, Green House, Gandolfo’s New York Delicatessen, Ssahm BBQ Gourmet Korean Tacos, The Butcher’s Son and more parked in the Dallas Arts District during peak lunch hours.
